07/26/2012 Five-year DC CAS Scores Show Steady Growth, Areas for Improvement

District of Columbia Public School (DCPS) students have shown notable growth over the past five years, according to results of the 2012 District of Columbia Comprehensive Assessment System (DC CAS) released today by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). During the 2011-2012 school year, the percentage of elementary students in DCPS who scored proficient in reading and math increased, after a two-year decline. 03/07/2011 DCPS Receives Record Number of Applications for Annual Lottery

District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) received a record 6,661 applications for the annual Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and K-12 Out-of-Boundary lottery.
